Handmade in SE20 has stemmed from my love of colour.

I remember as a 19 year old, whilst doing my Art Foundation Course in Brighton, standing in a room full of yarns in the Fashion and Textiles department and feeling utter joy at being surrounded by the amazing colours.

​

This was slightly strange for a teenager who had spent the majority of their teenage years wearing only black and white!

​

Many years later, after the birth of my son and being in a job which didn't satisfy my creative desires, I started looking for a suitable craft.  I toyed with felt for a while but it didn't quite stop that itch.  At the same time, a friend introduced me to Pinterest and I started scouring the internet for inspiration.

And that was when I came across the Modern Quilting movement......

Everything in my shop is designed and made by me in South East London using classic techniques with an added modern twist.

I sell at craft shows and markets mainly in South East London but have been known to venture further afield on occassion.  You can find a list of upcoming markets on the calendar page.
